The Genie Model 3860 Garage Door Opener Uses Intellicode Remote Controls

The remotes and keypad are Genie's current replacement Intellicode or Series II remote controls. They replace all previously made Intellicode controls.

These remotes program using a Learn Button on the opener's motor head unit to program your Genie remote controls.

The learn button is located near the antenna wire that goes into the machine. On some models you may need to remove the plastic light cover to access the learn button on your garage door opener.
