The new three-button key ring remote is a compatible replacement remote for garage door openers using an orange learn button on the powerhead of the motor unit that is attached to the ceiling in the garage. Order includes a new compatible remote, visor clip, installed battery and programming instructions.

Compatible Remote Programming Instructions:

THIS IS A 315MHz REPLACEMENT REMOTE FOR THE 970-315LM REMOTE THAT USED AN ORANGE LEARN BUTTON.

1. Locate the ORANGE Learn button on your garage door opener power head (it will be a square ORANGE button on the end of the motor unit where the antenna wire is located.) You may have to remove the light lens cover on some models.
2. Press and Release the ORANGE learn button on the motor unit of your garage door opener. A yellow light will light up next to the learn button.
3. Immediately press and release one push button on the new compatible remote control (you should hear a click in the motor unit and your light bulb(s) may flash).
4. Press the remote button again you just programmed to test it. You are now done.
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for each additional push button. *
